  • Built the in-house operating system of an energy retailer (TypeScript, Next.js) in a team of 4 engineers.
  • Scaled it with the business from hundreds to 10k+ customers.
  • Automated and operated the billing processes, collecting up to 500k€ in payment volume per month at peak.

  • First full-time hire. Built the trading API connecting to the exchange (FIX) and the banking partner.
  • Helped pivot to a full brokerage under our own BaFin license, obtained after two years. Designed and built the core banking system and ledger, which safeguarded 10M€+ in assets under custody.
  • Led the post-trade squad as interim squad lead and shipped securities and cash settlement in 3 months, up to the first live trade.
  • Moved between squads and led cross-squad engineering improvements.

  • Helped bring the energy retailer in-house (Python, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL), starting with billing and then the full retail stack.
  • Integrated the energy retail ERP with the CRM and billing systems into one automated retail platform.

  • Led a team of analysts and engineers as interim product manager for 3 months.
